The SCS85 system widely used & valued for its flat deck design, one for one module replacement, and minimal wear parts. The 85 system is popular on dewatering screens due to the rigidity which is normally fixed at 300mm centres across the screen and along the entire length of the

More on SCS85 Modular System
The SCS85 modular system consists of rectangular modules that are typically 300mm wide. The module length varies to suit the screen, and designers usually select a length that divides evenly across the full screen. Although the standard module thickness is 30mm, the 85 system also allows users to increase the thickness easily for heavy duty applications or high impact areas. Manufacturers may also refer to this system as WS85 or GK85.
Module Profiles and Support Structure
Each module includes moulded profiles on two sides. These profiles align with a polyurethane knock‑in bar. The bar then fits into a steel girder that runs the full length of the screen, creating a secure connection.
Because the modules contain reinforcement across their width only, they remain flexible along their length. Meanwhile, steel girders fixed to the screen frame supply the necessary longitudinal strength.
SCS85 Modular System: Side Bars and Fixing Options
The 85 system uses several side bar designs. The most common option is a polyurethane wedge driven between the cleat and the side bar to apply downward clamping pressure.
Other side bars knock into girders positioned close to the screen edge. These include moulded profiles that allow the modules to knock down securely. Similar variants bolt directly to the screen side plate.
