Self cleaning wire mesh is designed to combat one of the most common issues in aggregate and mining operations: blinding and pegging. Traditional woven wire screens can become clogged with moist, sticky, or fine materials. This reduces screening efficiency, increasing downtime and therefore causes material flow problems.
Self-cleaning screens are engineered to prevent this by incorporating a design that allows the mesh to flex and vibrate independently. Thereby dislodging material that would otherwise block the screen openings.
