Has a multitude of different uses around a processing plant, from rubber curtains or drapes to chute linings and flooring. SCS stocks 60 shore hardness rubber sheeting in thicknesses from 6mm to 50mm thick, rolls are 1.4m or 1.5m wide and rolls and dependant on the thickness rolls are 5m or 10m long. Rubber Sheeting can be supplied as rolls, made to measure parts or CNC cut parts (up to 10mm thick) using DXF templates.
Typically these types of linings are used in wet applications where a watertight lining is required such as application like screen underpans, sand cones and various other types of chutes. Another application is for wear protection of a screen’s cross members and drive tubes then a bonded rubber is ideal as mechanical fixing may affect the structure of the screen. Bonded rubbers can be supplied in 40 or 60 shore hardness in a variety of thicknesses to suit each application. Each roll has a pre-prepared bonding layer for use with cold bonding kits and metal primers. There is however a knack to installing bonded rubber linings and the key is in preparation and timing, if it is not something that you are confident doing let us know as we can offer onsite installation.
This type of rubber is cost effective heavy duty lining for chutes handling larger aggregates, SCS stocks this material in 1.5m wide by 5m long rolls, 15mm or 25mm thick and can supply this is rolls or made to measure parts. The fabric backing increases the strength of the rubber sheeting and stabilises it holds its shape better than standard rubber sheeting.
