Rubber self-supporting panels are utilized in the heavy-duty end of screening applications, they particularly lend themselves to scalping operations, gabion stone, armour stone, etc.
Self-supporting panels are bespoke to each application and designed to suit the screen, normally constructed from a laser cut steel plate varying from 5mm to 10mm thick with a 20mm to 50mm thick cut and wear resistant rubber bonded to it. Both the steel and rubber will have aperture cut/punched into them which when bonded together must align to form the finished product.
Self-supporting panels are quite often held in place by being bolted down to the screen frame or another heavy-duty clamping system.
