Our Slotted Pins, Metal Wedges and Polyurethane Protection caps work in unison to secure our centre hold down bars over the Plank Modular System. Simply secure the metal wedge through the slotted pin with a hammer to ensure your screen decks stay securely fastened down. A simple hammer strike in the ‘against-flow’ direction loosens the wedge so the centre bar can be removed, allowing two to four modules to be removed at once, allowing efficient maintenance and spacious access through to the deck below. As this wedge system requires a horizontal hammer strike, it is ideal to use in screens with limited space in lower decks, where swinging a hammer vertically is impractical or impossible.
