The SCS Tungsten Carbide Secondary Scraper is designed to suit an application that requires a more aggressive belt clean. Situated behind the head drum, the 100mm wide tungsten blades ensure the scraped width is maximised for the most efficient clean. The blades are mounted on a carrying shaft between polyurethane bushes to take up any movement from the belt. The scraper is mounted using a stand bolted to the underside of the conveyor stringers and is simply adjusted using a screw arrangement.
