More on SCS600 System Modules
The SCS600 system was one of the first modular systems in the market place its main benefit is that it is a unitised system, using primarily one standard module size. This means it is simple to install and forms a flat deck.
Modules measure approximately 600 mm long, 300 mm wide, and 40 mm high. Each module features a welded steel frame construction, which polyurethane is moulded around.
The SCS600 system uses peg and sleeves to hold modules in place. Along each 600mm side of the module there are four half circles moulded into the module, with a shoulder approximately 30mm down. When a row of modules is installed the sleeve are inserted where the two half circles in the modules align. A hole in the screen frame is then drilled. The peg is then hammered through the sleeve spreading the legs of the sleeve and holding the module in position.
